The Gardens We Carry

A series by photographer Emily Frances Olson, The Gardens We Carry is a collection of prints and cyanotypes hand-created in sunlight.

Each piece is made with flowers gathered from the backyards and parks of Forest Hills, Queens.

Rooted in themes of memory, identity, and transition, the series invites viewers to reflect on the intimate traces of place and time we carry with us, wherever we go.
